A top 10 news podcast finds its home—and its voice—in the heart of Midtown.

Since the beginning of Mo News, its podcast was done completely virtually, even if the guests were just down the block.

Why? Its founder, Mosheh Oinounou, hadn’t found a podcast studio to make their own quite yet.

But that all changed in 2025 when Oinounou decided to call the Industrious at Midtown on 50th St. location home for his growing news company.

Oinounou was visiting one of the company’s partners who help produce the podcast in Atlanta who uses Industrious. When he saw the facilities, he did a quick Google search to see if there were other locations back at home in New York. With nearly 30 locations in the city, Oinounou was impressed. They went with the midtown location, creating easy access for any guests who might come on the podcast.

“The team at Industrious was incredibly easy to work with,” said Oinounou. “It just made sense for us. We love the conference rooms and then the individual pods. There are a lot of options here. It made a lot of sense on a number of levels.”

Since March 2020, Oinounou has been breaking down the news on the  Mo News Instagram page with a facts-first approach, including the latest in politics, international news, business and pop culture. His more than half a million followers range from celebrities to politicians to business leaders to millions of people around the globe who are passionate about staying informed and receiving non-partisan, reliable information. Since 2024, he also delivers additional context, deep dives, and personalized commentary to his more than 10,000 paid monthly subscribers in his Members-Only Instagram account.

The team of five is all working out of their new Industrious office to continue its hard work. Mo News recently won the National Press Foundation’s Chairman’s Citation Award for innovation in media. Mo News has also been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Forbes, and Variety Magazine for breaking new ground in the media.

But Mo News also now features a daily Mo News podcast – which has ranked as a Top 10 News Podcast on Apple and Spotify with over 7 million downloads. There is also a weekly podcast featuring conversations with newsmakers and industry experts called the Mo News: The Interview Podcast .

Its production quality has seen a big refresh. Down the hall from Mo News’ office is its podcast studio. What was once another office was soundproofed and beautified to create a perfect set. The complete customization aspect was huge for Oinounou.

After settling in and building out their podcast studio, which Oinounou shouts out his wife for, they even extended the new resource to other tenants at that Industrious location. “We let others know that we have a space for podcasts if they need to use it,” he said.

Those connections are something that Oinounou deeply appreciates. He’s already run into people in the halls of Industrious that have led to new connections. For example, he ran into someone from a PR agency who pitches guests to come on podcasts – some of whom may end up on Mo News.

And it’s a win for Mo News and it’s guests, too, from better conversations in person to stronger production value.

“I think having a devoted space is great for us as we’re growing,” Oinounou said. “We tend to interview media figures, politicians and authors. Now, I’m hoping for Mo News to get to the next level with having our own devoted space where we can have videos with a better background and lighting.”
